What do you think he thought would happen if he stabbed Metcalf? That nothing would happen to him? Not sure what he was thinking

Back in HS there were some kids I wanted to punch in the face. Like my body wanted to do that, but in my mind I realized I'd be suspended from school so I decided against it.

But being suspended from school is far less severe than going to prison for life. Did Karmelo Anthony really not think he would go to prison for life before he stabbed Metcalf?
