Do we look like what we see in the mirror in natural light? , or on a Instagram selfie? or iPhone selfie or what we look like on a DSLR camera? my mind is fucked , I look better in the mirror or Instagram selfies camera or even DSLR camera pictures than I do with the iPhone front camera or the iPhone rear camera..

because youre not used to seeing your face like that. to me i look deformed when i flip my photos but my gf had never noticed my asymmetries until i pointed them out

I honestly think it’s somewhere between your mirror and front camera when taken by someone else. The reason I say not a true mirror or non-mirrored camera is because we all instantly look at ourselves almost disgusted cause we have become so used to seeing ourselves the opposite way. The asymmetries we see typically aren’t apparent to other people unless severe.

I dont know about you guys but every picture ive been in taken with a good camera , ive litteraly looked the same as in the mirror just flipped.
I also have 2 mirrors in my bathroom which you can open so i just turn one side out and i have a true mirror , and looking at that it looks the same as when i get a picture taken of me. Just a tiny bit better because its in 3d and not 2d. So true mirror is the most reliable imo.
