For around $15k-$20k, you can go to Spain (Eyecos) or Mexico (Yeux Clairs) and laser your brown pigment.

The possible risks are:
Discoria
Macular Hemorrhage
Retina Burning
Iritis
Introcular Pressure Elevation
Anterior Synechia
Iris Hemmorrhage
Corneal Edema
Cataracts
Holes in the Iris
Iris Atrophy
Involuntary eye movements
Involuntary movements of the body
Glaucoma
Uveitis
Autoimmune diseases
Corneal opacities
Unreal expectation and associated depression bc you may or may not be stuck with your black eyes for life.
Age related depression - that you top tier facial structure wont last for ever, even if you do somehow manage to become a surgerymaxxed GigaChad.

I'm mildly insane and am considering getting it but I am afraid of blindness desu.

Shit procedure IMO. As far as I can tell, results are either heavily shopped or they use bright camera flash to bring out blues, etc in the afters. IRL, for the most part you really just end up getting a pale, dead-looking gray tone.

Other than that, high costs plus the potential sides and relatively high complication rate make it not quite worth it.

there has been one long term study with over a thousand patients.
this is a study from the eyecos clinic (so yes, a conflict of interest - and possible scientific impartiality due to financial interests). having said that glaucoma does not seem to be observed even after years in most cases and it says that eye pressure dropped post laser in most patients, which they theorized was because of an increase in intraocular volume and chamber angle post removal of pigment. p. 1387 having said that, there are a myriad of other possible eye ailments that could materialize down in line and which cannot be deduced as the data hasnt been found.

then there is this study.
https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1007/s40123-022-00458-2.pdf
it concludes that permanent contacts and pigment insertion are dangerous.
it also briefly notes cosmetic iridoplasty and a case report of glaucoma 4 weeks after the laser p. 467

long term studies of cosmetic use of this laser apart from the first report, are sparse.

ultimately, I have deduced that eye issues, generally, will not be immediate but years down the line.
light eyes would elevate my attractiveness by 1psl point unironically.
dealing with glaucoma and possible blindness in 20 years seems like a decent risk reward ratio especially if it ensures that i get to enjoy my younger years, although i am still undecided about the procedure.

yeah eyecos results seem shit. Yeux clairs results seem to be marginally better however the results are all a dark grey/grey blue. yet, to me, that is still preferable to my subhuman black eyes.

however, because i am a basement dweller living with my mother, my existence is essentially reading books/studying all day like a pseudo hermit. very rarely do i revel in irl social contact nor do i actively seek it out.
if i went blind bc of the procedure i would unironically seek voluntary euthenasia tbh. even if i got outlier results and was able to enjoy my face and make frens etc, i wonder if the eyes would be the main contributor to my hypothetical friendships, rather than just the effect on my self confidence, conducive to positive social interaction. therefore, i am still undecided on the procedure tbh.

Every surgery has a laundry list of risks.

Works very good for candidates with vibrant brown eyes. It only removes melanin, doesn't increase pigmentation/vibrancy. Perfect candidate right here:
