I think most of us can relate to the drives and actions done by Bateman, basically dream life other than the killing. He represents most of our internal wishes and lives a masculine, well-off life.

it predicted the future Looksmaxing at first you can see patrick looksmaxing living his normal life and acting like he cares and likes other pepole when in reality he enjoys being alone , kind of similar to my life tbh , he didn't kill anyone it was just in his head he was kind of detached from reality relly good movie but seen better

Yeah, true, but i think the movie was a satire and it was actually mocking people like him, like us. And i think that chase at the end of the movie wasn't real because at the end he was already going nuts, but i think that he killed Paul Allen, and when that guy said that he had dinner with Paul Allen just 10 days ago in London, it wasn't Paul Allen but he thought it was because everyone is the same and acts the same, that's the main message of the movie. Overral good movie
