Islam is still barbaric in many ways but it was definitely an improvement compared the arabic paganism. People take for granted this clearly christian society and think all these values we have are somehow ''natural''.

Reality is most of theses non-abrahamic religions were extremely brutal and stupid. It's no coincidence we had all these laws in the old testament, most ancient people were sacrificing children, raping women, fucking animals and all sorts of crazy shit.
