I am 186cm or so in shoes, and I almost never got height mogged in Russia. It was very rare to see a guy more than 2-5cm taller than me, and the vast majority (like 80-90% were the same height or shorter). And this is mostly young men too, and in Moscow/Saint Petersburg, so there can be no cope about cities or age of men or whatever.
