to lay blame on life instead of god doesn’t make much sense when you consider the supposed divine qualities of god
according to abrahamic scripture, god created everything, knows everything (both past, present and future), he is all powerful and all merciful. many would say that every action is caused by god too
by that logic it was god who either inflicted or allowed calamities to happen. life is not a sentient being that chooses to do things, it’s merely the canvas where god gets to play with his creation
