An average relatively lean arm (triceps easily visual when flexed at the side) is around 14 inches. Average arm size for a person who has gone to the gym for a few years relatively lean would be around 15.25 inches. This can look large on some and unimpressive on others. Regardless, a respectable size. Large arm pretty lean is usually 16+ inches.
