The theory goes, saying God is not the only God and that there are other gods, because he is jealous and you need to lack something in order to be jealous also he says "they have become like one of us" after humans eating of the tree. He also set up a test for them to eat from the tree which seems unfair as they didnt know right from wrong before eating. The theory portrays lucifer meaning light bringer, as trying to help adam in eve by bringing them knowledge, because God said the day you eat from the tree you will die even though they didn't die that day, and they became aware like lucifer said. I think basicly it says God made the world to keep us away from knowledge and blindly follow or something. Idk its kinda convincing.

I considered myself an atheist; I don't believe in religions. At most, I'd be agnostic

In the hypothetical case that I were a deist, I would believe in a god far removed from what we know in religions

Dude discovered Gnosticism the whole right and wrong thing is valid but god expected you to listen to him listening to authority requires no foreknowledge of right and wrong, but yes I agree Satan never tells a lie but god does, Satan kills 3 people god commits genocide, Heaven is eternal worship of god and calling his name.

Good observation, but the important thing is not to notice the tensions, but how they are explained.
It is true that in the Bible there are phrases such as:

“They have become like one of us” (Genesis 3:22)

“You shall have no other gods before me”

But this is not proof that there is a real, hidden pantheon.

If we analyze it from a historical context, it would be something like this: Genesis emerges in a polytheistic environment of the ancient Near East. Israel was not born monotheistic; it was monolatrous (it worshiped one god without denying that other peoples believed in theirs). Over time, these texts were theologically reinterpreted toward a strict monotheism.
In conclusion, this is not about “God hiding other gods,” but about an ancient text that reflects a cultural transition.

When a myth is interpreted as a conspiracy, it stops explaining human beings and begins to reflect our modern fears.
