From a scientific viewpoint once your brain activity ceases your consciousness goes away and it’s the same state as before you were born; nothing.
That sounds brutal, because that means all for nothing, because once you’re gone and there is no consciousness nothing really matters because you wont experience anything and you simply cannot care.
That being said. It almost sounds unbelievable because how can all life, matter, time etc exist. There has to be a starting point.
These questions don’t leave my mind and I’m constantly occupied with it, because we will all face death sooner or later. It’s inevitable and part of life.
