Extreme positive canthal tilt is overrated and often looks uncanny IRL. Slightly downturned or neutral hunter eyes signal calm dominance, maturity, and restraint rather than try-hard prettiness.
Highly positive tilt pushes the face into a pretty-boy / feminine territory, especially when paired with low brow ridge or weak orbital depth. It photographs well but collapses under harsh lighting and candid angles.
Neutral to slightly downturned eyes with good orbital depth and a heavy brow create a predatory, composed look—less expressive, more intimidating, and more sexually dimorphic in adult males.
