estrogen/estradiol closes your growth plates so you can't grow anymore, aromasin decreases estrogen levels.

Aromasin binds to the aromatase enzyme and kills it. The aromatase enzyme converts testosterone into estrogens like estradiol and estrone so aromisin decreases your estrogen supply since this conversion is your only endogenous source of estrogen. It is mainly used to prevent gyno and other estrogenic side effects when using steroids, but it can be used on its own to decrease water weight or prevent growth plates from closing. You shouldn’t use it unless you are on steroids or have open growth plates
