I have had my lower premolars removed to allow my mandible to be advanced more.

However what does removing the upper Premolars allow?

Greater maxilla movement? Ante face look?

You had one of these

But extraction wouldnt matter for a normal LeFort 1 (except you do horseshoe)

Because there probably isn't enough place for the normal occlusion (after surgery) to be in your mouth

Im having a clockwise rotation lefort 1 for a short face.

I remember when i first consulted he said i would need my top premolars removed, now he isnt saying that and just the lower premolars to be removed (decompensating)

Just thought if we removed the top premolars it could be a larger movement with better results?
