The greatest argument against Christianity is the argument of “if God exists how come he lets death and pain exist”. But, I think a better argument is “why do ugly men exist”.

Death isn’t as cruel as celibacy. Murder isn’t as offensive as Virginity.

It’s more believable that God would allow death and pain because those are the fruits of Adam’s sin. Also, it effects EVERYONE. It is indiscriminate. It isn’t too “evil”. It’s the same as someone murdering someone in a botched robbery versus murdering someone just for fun. It makes all the difference.
