What does it mean for me to rely on youth indicators?

When I was balding, had a lot of acne, bad skin, a shadow beard I looked like a different person. Now I'm recovering my hairline, I lasered my beard, I'm on accutane and tazarotene and I look much better.

But I can see that if I were to lose any youth indicator I would descend in a terrible way... like Chico did
