I think because for humans body hair is really dimorphic so things like arm hair, facial hair, leg hair, especially if theres a lot, are going to be unattractive on a female just like if she had a manly shaped body or manly looking face. Sexual selection in humans really favors these dimorphic traits like men being tall, and large, and women being short and small. Body hair is another trait like that
