What does it mean when male randoms give you a lot of physical contact? Like "friendly" hand on shoulder or back

Are they genuinely friendly or are they trying to assert dominance by invading personal space? I find it rage inducing but I’m not sure if it’s justified or if it’s my autistic genes.
