Moving your bottom jaw forward to align with your front teeth. If they aren't aligned. Then you have a recessed mandible.

I'd assume a trauner Obwegeser cut (or "high cut") BSSO would get the job done. Currently searching for surgeons that do it, as it's significantly more risky of hitting nerves.

I also think you need to get an implants with it so you don't have a massive dent from the edge that was moved.
