I understand the concept of love, but I have not and likely will not experience love. This thread is a reminder of what I am missing. I am exaggerating a bit.

People hype up sex but you know love is 100x better actually. First I thought I couldn’t feel it at all and I thought maybe that’s just who I am and I will never experience it. But it is really unpredictable, so at some point it just happened with a girl, and later on other girls too. And with me it hits me very hard as well, not slowly like some people but it would be like I met a girl and all the chemicals in my brain would just go crazy and you feel like in drugs . Now imagine if it is mutual and you can kiss her, it is like you are floating through outer space like fr that’s what it feels like it’s the best thing probably better than heroin. Although I don’t know what that’s like but fact is that’s just artificial. Same with sex, you can just buy it if you want to. But love can’t be faked it’s like a gift of the universe that just happens sometimes and you want it to last forever. But unfortunately of course that often doesn’t happen and sometimes the girl doesn’t love you back so that is the most painful thing, like actual grief in your heart.

Another thing is you can have limerence which is similar but a bit different. In that case it’s like the mind gets confused and you just feel total love for a girl even if maybe you don’t even know her of have never even spoken. It can even happen for example with some actress or something like you feel kinda obsessed and you know it’s strange but you can’t help it really. And in your mind there will be a whole fantasy about you and the girl but meanwhile she doesn’t even know you exist probably. So that is hard to deal with.

So yeah that is my experience with love. Ultimately I have found people always talk about sex but now I wonder have they ever experienced love ? Ok if you have sex with someone you’re in love with I understand it is great but otherwise it’s just kinda purely fulfilling some desires and sure that is nice for a little moment ig but in the end does it mean anything? But love is true meaning in life. If people have it fr with some girl, for sure they wouldn’t be sleeping around and chasing other girls, you could not even think of that then.

Hopefully one day I will find that again and it will be mutual then I can die happily

true, and i talked about this in a post i made a couple weeks ago, talking about how Laying on my gfs shoulder while she played with my hair during lunch break has felt better than all the times ive had sex with her.
