I think many people realise their lives are uninteresting and irrelevant (they aren't good looking or charismatic) so moralfagging gets them some attention and helps them feel good about themselves. Obviously saying the n word randomly is unnecessary and autistic, but they lose their minds even when it's said as a joke.
