I want to start this off by saying that this in no way, a hate thread, I do not care about this user and they are in no way significant to me. However I am mildly interested in why they are here rather than not.
_________
Our suspect for today is a user known as @Thodian, he has recently received the prized contributor badge (Congratulations!) and I was initially very happy to see it whenever I would log back into the site because it meant that people were building and pushing forward for the betterment of the website. However as I’ve been lurking more and more recently, I’ve been conflicted with this user’s behavior.
Here’s a screenshot of your average lightgreencel thread that was posted a few minutes ago:
This is what our lovely contributor had to say about it:
He also had a secondary, longer response after this one in the same thread which he used degenerate language and poor sentence structure therefore I am simply not going to take the liberty of screenshotting it, but you get the idea.
Interacting with racebait? That seems quite low for someone who is a “contributor” but who knows, everyone is different right? Maybe he just likes being in sync with the community in his own weird way. Surely not all of his posts are the same quality as this right?
Well..
It’s literally just all just racebait and low quality posting about sex, that’s it. I didn’t see a single guide or topic post among any of these. If the people wanted an NSFW poster, then Nectar should’ve gotten Contributor instead, because despite having a terrible taste in women (sorry Nectar,) he is very consistent and higher quality posting.
What do I mean by “higher quality posting?” Well this is what his average thread looks like:
I’m not even going to put up a thread by Nectar for comparison, you get the idea.
_______
So I was conflicted, and then I realized that so must be basically everyone else on why this man is considered a “contributor” so I looked through his post history for posts explaining why he has it and which posts got him contributor.
Here is Mast spotted in the wild asking Thodian why he has Contributor:
Well.. certainly a list of threads made by him, certainly more than some other aspiring Contributors at the very least. I’ll go through them and let you know how much engagement they have.
His “sexmaxxing” guide (very strange considering he doesn’t post like someone who would go within 5 meters of the opposite gender, but hey, that’s what makes us all different right?)
His “PED and Peptides Sourcing” guide:
That’s it, that is the entire thread.
His “Heightmaxxing” thread (no such thing as heightmaxxing, it is utter cope.):
His “Stop Roids from Fusing your Plates” thread:
Again, this is all there is to the thread, enough to be taken in fully by just a single screenshot.
His “How to Download and Pirate Movies” thread:
His “How to Filter Roids” thread:
“Liked by higheffortthreads”

His “How to Buy Crypto” thread:
His “How to Brew Test E” thread:
His “How to Semi Save the World from Getting Warmer” thread:
His “How to Brew Tren A” thread:
What an application indeed. If we compile every single thread he has and add up all the reactions, he would have a grand total of 127 rep, why is this an issue? Well for two main reasons:
1. You have to be well known in the community to have Contributor Badge, it is a requirement of badge. If these were the only threads Thodian had posted, he would be a greycel and completely unknown by everyone.
2. Thodian has 15,555 rep, his Contributor posts amounting to a total amount of 127 rep means that his Contributor posts amount for a total of 0.723440615% of his total rep (which is the benchmark of your status on the website.) This is not excusable, he doesn’t have a mass amount of posts like @Jason Voorhees, so there’s no genuine reason for his Contributor threads to amount for such a low percentage of his total rep. For reference, my Contributor threads have roughly 2805 combined reputation, which accounts for 28.67% of my total rep.
Honorable Mention: His threads have a chronically low engagement rate, I want to point out that you can’t even apply a thread towards BOTB if it doesn’t have more than 20 rep which means that only 1 out of his 10 application threads (or 10%) would even be following the rules if applied to BOTB.
_________
Let’s compare his post history to an actual Contributor’s now:
There is a very obvious, clear difference. Let’s compare him to myself:
The difference is very, very significant. This user hasn’t even had a single pinned thread, why on earth does he have Contributor?
__________
My words should not come off as mean or out of line, Contributor is a role given to trustworthy members of the community that have consistently and actively contributed large amounts of information to the website, this person has not. He doesn’t fit any of the criteria to be Contributor. For reference to how strict they are with the criteria, @Sayori was denied Contributor, that’s how serious it is.
To Thodian, I am likely not going to respond to you if you respond to this thread, mainly because this has mostly just been an analysis thread for me which I enjoy writing, and I don’t actually care too much on your justification. If you want to talk with me, you’re free to message. You’re very lucky it’s me writing this and not mcmentalonthemic. Since you already have the badge, I’ll have to say, congratulations? I suppose. You should likely start however by making useful threads instead of having a presence defined by posting racebait and NSFWslop. Have a good day.
