What even is the point of IMDO?

I don’t understand why it’s even a thing? Why not just get bimax and genio all in one go. Also wouldn’t IMDO increase the risk of u messing it up, bc it also depends on u screwing it rather than putting all the work to the surgeon.

Yeah but my point is why not just move the lower jaw in one go with bimax? U can see u need to surgerically move the maxilla forward anyway to do IMDO.

IMDO seems very unnatural to me. Bimax with no rotation + genio tends to mimic natural growth patterns.
