What exactly is the point of infraorbital rim implants if lower eye lid retraction exists

Its already been proven that rim implants dont fix dark circles under your eye, so the only other benefit to them is that they raise the lower eye lid but even then lower eye lid retraction does a better job at it.

So, with that being said, what benefits do these infraorbital rim implants have to offer? they are pretty expensive compared to lower lid retraction+under eye filler.
