Im the peak balkan Frankensteinian byproduct of the Ottoman-Habsburg wars. Paternally i come from that famous Northern Albanian tribes, but after my ancestors lost to the Ottomans in the Habsburg wars of the 18th century they made truce, converted to Islam and migrated to modern Sandzak, a place between Serbia and Montenegro which during that time was under the Bosnian decentralized Eyalet. So over the next generations they married with slavic bosnian or christian serb women and the children were raised by their mothers tounge, albanian got forgotten and the people identified with Bosniak indetity

Clearly defined ethnicities are Greeks, Albanians, Turks, Romanians, Hungarians (not really balkan imo) due to their languages being very distinct. This limits intermixxing amongst other.

Everything sandwiched between them, the South Slavs are just trying to compensate for their lack of uniqueness and have an clear inferiority complex to surrounding non-Slavic peoples.

The more white a country is, the lower the population. The darker the country the higher birth rate. Same goes for east asia. Chinese, koreans, mongolians and japanese are lighter than their southern neighbours such as vietnam, thailand, cambodia etc. I mean look at the birth rates of both korean countries and japan too
