What hairstyle should I get?

I have black 1b straight hair. I'm growing it out to this length:

I want to be be able to achieve these looks (I'm aware they need different products):

For reference, my face shape is similar to Jake Gyllenhaal (middle guy), but I have a slightly more narrow lower third. My hairline is pretty much exactly like Jake's:

I want to go for the mid-length hair to add some width to my face. The back of my skull protrudes outward so my skull is alien tier. Longer hair will cover that up. Any hairstyle recommendations and hair product recommendations?
