The same as before you were born probably.

Reality is pretty strange though so it’d be interesting if quantum immortality ends up being real.

From the observer’s point of view you always exist, even in moments of unconsciousness you instantly teleport to a time where you exist like waking up after sleeping.

It is most logical that after the destruction of the brain, consciousness ceases. It is a natural conclusion to our observation that as the brain gets more damaged, people become less conscious, and when they die, they give no signs of consciousness. Anything else is pure speculation, if not outright schizo ramblings.

Logically you are your brain and when your brain dies you die, non-existence. It makes sense after all, since brain damage exists, people become demented or alzheimer’s. That again takes into question what a supposed afterlife would mean, because brain damage and the personality changes that follow, dementia, etc, would mean we are not connected to our brain/body.

But I’ve spoken to "sighted" people and they seem very adamant about being different having abilities and seeing dead people. One girl I spoke to who claimed to be sighted/medium said she knew her grandma was dead before her mom told her, because she saw her grandma that morning. Or when my mom’s friend’s son died in an avalanche accident his friends say they heard footsteps in the attic the night after he died. Maybe there is something after death and we won’t know it until it happens

this might sound schizo but @neurosis thread on this is a very good thread, i cant seem to find it tho link it if u can

death isn’t real because something can’t just turn into nothing. nothing cant turn into something. Nothing isnt a thing. Since you exist now, you must always exist in some form. true non existence (like being dead forever) isnt possible

i just found that thread interesting and high iq, which you rarely see nowadays

my guess is pretty bland and basic w not much to back it up, its kind of from a nihlistic-like point of view which im sure youve heard milions of times, answer is nothing, your concs. fades and its the same as it was before birth, nothing

you cease to exist, im obv completely open to change my view if someone makes an an actual valid point that says otherwise/debunks my take

People are scared of ghosts but for me if a genuinely paranormal activity occurred I legit would be so happy because that proves there’s something more to this world.

But here we all are with phones in our pocket at 1080p 60 fps with no evidence 💔

1. You go back to where you were before you were born, and you stay there this time, permanently, so you don't become / born into something, sometime, somewhere again, like you did in this existence

2. You go back but don't stay there for long, or even instantly you become / born into something, sometime, somewhere again, like you did in this existence

I'd say it's more the 60-40 or 70-30% percentages/chances for the 2nd option compared to first, as we've already experienced that, being now alive as something, so the chances are good that we'll keep doing this, and we'll probably keep doing it forever, in a permanent loop of existence and non-existence..

is that any religion?

best thing to do is find a religion you align with as those are typically the only ways to reach a logical explanation or understanding of the afterlife, also you can check out peoples anecdotal experiences with being declared dead then coming back, some pretty crazy stories I hear.

You will either be separate from God for all of eternity or be united with him for eternity.

1.you go back to where you were before being borned
2.reincarnation

this is pure speculation

word on the street is that your consciousness leaves this current human vessel, returns to the source of everything and you can either choose to reincarnate in another vessel, the same vessel, a previous vessel or chill in pleroma for eternity

this isnt speculation btw:

the answer for what happens after for death is most certainly not 'nothing'
