The more interesting question is:

If we didn't exist before we were born and we don't exist after we die how tf did we go from not existing (aka not being born) to all of a sudden being able to exist and gaining the ability to perceive this universe.

And if the phenomenon that aloud us to gain existence already activated once to allow us to go from not existing to existing then couldn't that process also activate again after we die allowing us to be born again?

That is a weird way to look at it since science states that energy is everpresent and cannot be created or destroyed, so in that case our conciousness is pure energy which then transmutes when we leave our physical body. Now we don't know what it's like actually experiencing this pure state however I believe that 5MEO-DMT and Ayahuasca provide the closest thing we can get to it. The nature of the universe deems it impossible for you to cease to exist on an energetic level. So yes, you will continue after death, just not in the vision your ego has created as a false idea of what will happen while you're here on earth so to speak.

Your brain doesn't create consciousness I don't believe so, that is a factor outside of us (god, universe)
If the brain created consciousness then every animal on earth would also be conscious of their existence but from what we know, they aren't but they still have a brain. Your brain is simply a tool that you need to survive and make decisions based on that survival instinct.
