I am 6 months on 5mg oral minox now and I want to change to 2.5mg because of slight bloat and scared of collagen loose but I don't want to lose the gains so what would happen if I remove half the dose?

You will go bald and rope

Cut if off completely and get topical minoxidil and latisse to maintain the results + gain even more.

A lot of people aren’t responders to topical because it requires local activity of sulfotransferase enzymes.

Even given this, I know efficacy of the two treatments is similar but oral at least has the convenience factor and you don’t have to worry about uneven application.

That statement about "alot of ppl aren't responders" is only applicable to Scalp Hair rather than eyebrows as eyebrows have much favorable environment of growth of hair than scalp in most males.

While it's possible, it's much less common.
As of now, 100% of the ppl + myself that I recommended topical minoxidil to, for eyebrows have noticed significant growth in 12 months.

And as for latisse, it doesn't depend upon it. (activity of sulfotransferase)

I didn’t realize OP was referring to eyebrows and not scalp.

I should figured considering the average user age is now 15.
