When I came home from trip my gf and friends were waiting for me. Before I could even drop my bags. She threw her arms around my neck, holding me tight, and kissed my cheek. I missed you she said.

Idk why but that was overwhelming for me. Happens often these days. Even small acts of kindness and love make me overwhelmed. I have navigated most of my adult life in complete social isolation. I had no one to talk to, no one to turn to and no one who cared for me and coming back to a room full of people who were happy that I exist was like shock to my mind. I was about to burst into tears.
