What happens when you go on an antidepressant? Like a low dosage? What exactly occurs

I got prescribed one at a low dosage what exactly will happen after taking it.

I got lexapro I'm depressed cause of some other shit I had some family issues and some people were racist to me.

depression also evaporated.

took around a week on 5mg to fully get used to new feeling. at the beginning had a few side effect like wanting to sleep too much.
also your libido gonna be reduced by 70%.

with time though (1-2 years) its going to become less and less effective and bigger dosaged will be requried to sustain the same effect . If its going to wrok on you- fix your life situation asap.

no it wont affect your penis size. Besides libido and drowsiness no significant side effects.

lexapro is generally well tolerated by most people and imo its the best ssri in the market. Literally erases all your negative thoughts and makes you calm as rock in the storm. Also unlike other ssris this one wont dull your positive emotions. Ussualy ssris erase negativity but they take also numb other emotions making you feel very indifirent towards life. Like a walking zombie.

for anyone reading this, SSRI's and even opioids and benzos eventually become incredibly toxic for you unless you are microdosing ( for SSRI , didnt reseafch the others much ). they help at first because they raise allopregnenalone, then they will fuck u up harder than u can fathom, especially when u try to get off. modafinil is much safer because it mostly raises dopamine, tho i wouldnt take it for too long. i know many great dopaminergic drugs , but you'll prolly never manage to get them prescribed. thats big pharma for ya
