Idk traveling is kinda overrated at least how most people do it. If your just going to fly to a country for a week on holiday and book a hotel that is. Only upside is if its a warm country and its winter where you live gives you new energy for sure.

Your not missing out on much the fun traveling is where you spend a month in a country doing interesting stuff not just staying at some resort

There is only like an hour of driving south from London till you reach the coast which is way more windy and cold and grey than London
