For me personally:
1) Family and friends. The people that helped shape who we are today. In terms of family, the people that brought us into the world. They might have their faults, but it’s best we share some gratitude towards them. Spend as much time with them as you can. It’s the closest you’ll ever get to experience seeing life from another person’s perspective.

2) Seeking to understand as much about our existence as possible. The nooks and crannies. Why do we exist on this planet? Why do gender differences exist between males and females? What’s the purpose of improving one’s looks, and is there any deeper evolutionary meaning to this? These are simple questions to answer for most of you, but it’s essential to be sentient and continue to ponder and educate oneself about our existence on this planet. I doubt I have the intelligence or capability for this, but I plan to create a general theory of life, that encompasses fields such as psychology, philosophy, physics, biology, etc. Without proper understanding of our existence, we’re simply just insentient robots, living based on impulses and stimuli. Furthermore, understanding our existence to our fullest will have a profound spiritual impact on your life.

3) Sex and reproduction. As one of the better users on this site said, sex is one of the primal ways in which a suboptimal male could immortalize himself, by being a first to take a women’s virginity. By being the first to take her virginity, you’re essentially shaping the women’s sexual psyche. Otherwise, sex feels good, and reproduction is an innate biological desire for most of us.

4) Other things in Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Food, shelter, safety, etc. Without it, you can’t even will yourself to reach self-actualization or more noble desires. These are essential needs for all of us.

5) Seeking to push oneself as much as possible. Whether that be physically, academically, and financially. Humans are a competitive species, so it’s only natural to get dopamine from being at the top of the hierarchy. Furthermore, why live out your life, being unable to see what you could’ve accomplished with your full potential. You at your full potential is like seeing the most beautifully sculpted version of yourself, so why not seek to reach those heights.

6) Seeking to not die. Very simple, but with death comes nothingness. No more emotions, no more thoughts, no more nothing. Therefore, it’s in your best interest to not die being a living human being. Personally, I want to live as long as possible, as living longer gives me a higher mathematical chance that I’ll have a higher quantity of amazing experiences on this planet.
