...is the fact that most people do not understand that the whole topic is highly political, ideological and ethical.
To put it in simple terms: Most people think that mandatory vaccination is a logical consequence of facts. But the truth is to tell a 20 yo that he needs to get vaxxed and thus sacrifice a small part of his health for the well being of some old folks is a MORAL, IDEOLOGICAL concept of LEFT POLITICS. The idea of sacrifice for the "greater good" of helping others.
And this is what I hate most about this debate. Politicians are trying to sell vaccination to us as if it was not an option to prefer letting old people die instead. It is legitimate to value your own health higher than that of other people. And whoever questions this is a leftist motherfucker. And it makes me sick that they don't at least admit that they are TRYING TO FORCE THEIR MORALITY ON OTHERS which is what this is all about.
