I can speak for CS and tell you that AI isnt replacing software engineers. Go speak to anyone working in industry and they will laugh at you. You won't be replaced by AI, you'll be replaced by someone good at using the AI since that's all it is, a tool. Also, once you work in industy you'll realize that writing code is only 10% of your responsibility as a software engineer.

it's essentially leveling the paying field and giving people their real deserved salaries.

it's cheaper to hire dishwashers who can do other related tasks than buy a bunch of robots to do it.

now the pay rate for lawyers and other professional liar parasites will have to more accurately reflect the true value of their work
