Yeah it was a big part of german nationalism in general, the pure humiliation that was forced onto germany during weimar was so bad that it was completely understandable how hitler rose to power, weimar went from a third world shithole with sexual degenerate depravity even worse than the modern day to a fully united germany that was hellbent on restoring not only its former glory but their proper place in europe, and not to mention how even after ww1 they refused to let the germans unify fully after the collapse of the austrian empire despite so many wanting to be in one country for all german peoples after the nightmare that was the ethnic conflicts in the Austrian-Hungarian empire
