What if you ARE hypergamous

All of us know hypergamy is bad, you can never marry your looksmatch and that you will always get someone who looks less beautiful than you but WHAT IF thats the point?

Spoiler: theory

We can take for an example that you are a mtn. If you get a mtb, you may be happy that you found your looksmatch but you cannot be safe. A mtb will always want a htn and not a mtn because of hypergamy and unless you are some exceptional mtn who has something else that the mtb wants you will always stay at risk of getting cheated on by the mtb with a htn. Now what if you get a ltb? You are hypergamous yes but a ltb will have more chance of genuinely loving you because she knows that she cannot get a htn cl or chad thus she will love you. You have a better chance if you are hypergamous because a htn would never get with ltb unless the ltb is an exception who has something that the htn needs which is why that happens.

Be hypergamous if you want to be safe, if you want someone to genuinely love you and if you want to reduce your chances of getting cheated on or betrayed you must be hypergamous because it ensures that you have a loyal gf.

only way is to minimise hypergamy by being a lmtn that gets with hltb that way its a looksmatch but you have severely reduced your chances of getting cheated on and youre probably safe if you do provide her with something else.

open to suggestions. Tell me what’s wrong with my theory and what hope do we have to escape hypergamy. I will be glad to accept my mistakes in the theory and see if there are any better alternatives

I didn't mean the man should be hypergamous. I meant that

· Women are hypergamous by nature.
· So if you (a MTN) date a MTB, she will look for a HTN, so you're at risk.
· If you date a LTB, she won't look for a HTN because she can't get one thus you're more safe.

Accept that female hypergamy is real, and use that knowledge to protect yourself.

If you are a MTN

Scenario A: You date a MTB (your looksmatch)

· She is average, just like you.
· Because women are naturally hypergamous, she will instinctively desire a HTN or better.
· Since you are her equal, you are not her ceiling. You are just a stepping stone.
· Result: You are at high risk of being cheated on or replaced. The only exception is if you have extraordinary money, status, or fame that outweighs your average looks which is rare.

Scenario B: You date a LTB

· She is less attractive than you.
· Yes, she also has hypergamous instincts. However, she knows with absolute certainty that she cannot land a HTN, Chad, or Chad-lite.
· To her, you (a MTN) are the best she can realistically get. You are her ceiling.
· Result: She will genuinely value you, love you deeply, and stay loyal because losing you means dropping down to a level she doesn't want to be at. Her hypergamy is effectively neutralized because it has nowhere to go.
