average if measured correctly but from my experiance most people overmeasure their IMW due to measuring from back molars

pretty bad. 45+ is good for modern humans but our ancestors had an imw of
48-54mm . i managed to expand from 34mm to 40mm imw by mewing but it was super uncomfortable and if you're over 20 I would just go straight for mse.
