i got mine since i asked for it specifically. i wanted to see how much overjet i have but they said they only have the ones from the front before and after removing my braces. what can i even see on it?

my goal is to work with what i have, because that x ray was covered by insurance for my braces.

A PA X-ray, will show you your mandible (lower jaw), including shape size symmetry, fractures/breaks, bone density issuse including cysts, tumors, osteoporosis, etc) your maxilla (upper jaw), but a frontal view is less detailed than lateral. It can show you some asymmetry or fractures too tho. It will display Temporomandibular joints (TMJ) so joint space and dislocations.

It will also show your teeth alignment including crowding and spacing. Will also display cavities, but like I said frontal view is quite limited. It will not clearly show you small cavities, soft tissue details like nerves, muscles, vessles, or subtle TMJ disorders. An MRI or CT is better for that.

Well unfortunately I can't help you any further, as I don't know why it is not allowing you. It may be a low reputation problem, to prevent spam and bots.
