I'm for it, but I can see a few problems. Well... It depends on how eugenics is rolled out.

1. If it's a forced insemination, then it runs the risk of the two parents growing hateful of the child, and potentially eachother. This will, of course, cause irreparable damage to the child and couple.
2. Now, if it's two volunteers, then it could work. However, the child must be raised with the parents. Foster care (or some governmental equivilent) will not work out. The child needs clear structure and care. The authority (father) and the caregiver (mother).

So, the only way I can see eugenics truly working is if it's between two compatible personalities, and they choose to raise the child themselves.
