childhood was pretty shit to be fair, i only really remember the traumatic memories. Best one was probably when my dog got hit by a car and died in my arms when i was 8.

I remember when I was about 10 and had an infinite amount of free time, I used to whatch a bunch of Minecraft YouTube videos while eating candy my dad gave me. Good times man, I honestly free dude, it was rly fantastic.

My uncle was a truck driver and he'd take me and my cousin with him every summer. It was such an adventure, going to different states, just chillin watching tv in the bunk. The late nights in the middle of nowhere. The way the truck's turbo whistled through the quietness of the night. The way the stars were so clearly visible and there were so many. The quietness and stillness of the night when we stopped driving. When you're young the world seems so big and mysterious. We had a ps2 in the back, my uncle would buy us candy and we'd eat out, we'd see beautiful landscapes and big cities with bright lights all around america, it was ethereal.

That feeling that i had as a child is the feeling that i chase as an adult, i want that feeling again but with the freedom that adulthood brings.
