What is "average looking " to you ?

In terms of when I see a picture, the average guy or gal looks incredibly dull and uninteresting. Definitely not hideous, and not appealing. Just really boring looks that aren't inspiring. It's like God was having an off day. I also think manner and style of dress play a role. They usually also lack style or sharpness in dress .

Someone who is semi attractive has a spark or something in them that stands out, but lacks outstanding features. Usually they are dressed well and have at least two appealing physical traits. I know this all sounds obvious but it's enlightening when you examine response

I use mane and tail shampoo and collagen on my hair. I use a light comb. Few products except brill cream.

I honestly think pictures and videos make me look better in general. That is because I am recessed and it stands out more IRL cause it is 3D.

Also, I think some distortion favors me and makes my ratios better. Not by a massive amount. I mean. A close up selfie is still gonna make my nose look a lot bigger than it really is. But arm's length distortion makes my skull look taller and eyes a bit more wide set.

average is just plain. they have the perfect combo of both appealing and unappealing features, which cancel each other out and lead to a plain looking person that neither repulses you with how they look, nor do they entice you. they're just there

therefore, other than said person being plain, how they come across to you and the degree to which they leave an impression on you will be more dependent on their character, style, etc rather than their looks. this means that to small to moderate degrees they can influence your impression of them more than either hot or ugly people can (you will invariably instinctively associate hot people with good things and ugly people with bad things, whereas average people can be associated with both quite comfortably)
