I’m currently a bit under 14% body fat, but my malar fat pad hasn’t changed at all. Because I’ve lost some fat in other areas of my face, it actually looks more prominent, and my tear trough have become more noticeable to the point where they dominate my appearance. It’s probably my second biggest facial concern. I have to take photos with a certain lighting because I look subhuman with it.
It also seems to create the appearance of a nasolabial fold, which is pretty discouraging.
What can be done? I’m wondering: is this purely an issue with the malar fat pad, or could there be other contributing factors? And are there any treatment or surgical options that could address it? I would be truly grateful to you this has been incredibly discouraging

Frauding with concealer or tinted SPF does absolutely nothing to hide this appearance, it's like a deep cut on my skin.
