Why do ppl want to expand itIt is the arch of the dental aka arch of the teeth
Thats basically how many teeth people see when you smile. Usually about 10 is considered ideal. People who lets say show only 8, can ask dental arch widening while getting braces/invisalign and ascend to that 10-12 teeth smileWhy do ppl want to expand it
I show 6 I want to show 8 how to do that, and what is the difference between this and palate expansion?Thats basically how many teeth people see when you smile. Usually about 10 is considered ideal. Wider Palate = Wider Smile. Why do ppl want to expand it
Here is visual example buddyI show 6 I want to show 8 how to do that, and what is the difference between this and palate expansion?
So why do people widen palate instead of dental arch? Here is visual example buddy
So dental arch is no of teeth and palate is how wide the smile goes compared to the face? Palate expansion seems like a memeWider Palate = Wider Smile.
Palate expanders are usually not worth it
As far as I understand widening arch is more about that front 6-10 teeth and palate expanding is about widening distance between molars. So jn theory if you dont have enough distance between molars you won't be able to have wide front teethSo why do people widen palate instead of dental arch?
Dental Arch widens your upper and lower mouth but palate expansion wides your entire upper jaw.So why do people widen palate instead of dental arch?
Say I don’t want 12 teeth smile or wide smile . I just want front 8-10 teeth showing when I smile, I should just get Invisalign? I have that dark buccal corridor you mentionedAs far as I understand widening arch is more about that front 6-10 teeth and palate expanding is about widening distance between molars. So it ( palate expansion ) increases jaw width?Dental Arch widens your upper and lower mouth but palate expansion wides your entire upper jaw.
Ppl get palate expanders usually because kf breathing issues etc
Very very likely yes, you would benefit from Invisalign/braces. Widening arch is simply cosmetical to make smile look better, while palate widening is usually done when you have health problems.Say I don’t want 12 teeth smile or wide smile . Which do you recommend Invisalign or braces ? I also have a slight gap between my incisors like ArnoldVery very likely yes, you would benefit from Invisalign/braces. Widening arch is simply cosmetical to make smile look better, while palate widening is usually done when you have health problems.

invislign is more expensive.Which do you recommend Invisalign or braces ? I also have a slight gap between my incisors like Arnold
I don’t mind people seeing braces on my teeth. Is there any other drawback to braces like food taste getting affected tongue bite etc?invislign is more expensive.
Same effectiveness I believe
None.I don’t mind people seeing braces on my teeth. Is there any other drawback to braces like food taste getting affected tongue bite etc?
From what I've heard and seen, invisalign is better but more expensive. Also you should research about how braces can ruin and reccess your face. Btw I'm also considering doing this in near future to straighten my teeth and I also have slight gap between front two. I think we need to collab on thisWhich do you recommend Invisalign or braces ? fuaarrtk. Will wearing braces on the upper teeth only prevent this, my chin is right on the edge of not being recesssed. And removing it one month before it has been prescribed to wear?. Also you should research about how braces can ruin and reccess your face.
Wearing on the lower teeth won't do anything bad, its braces on the upper teeth that can cause maxillary recession. But thats what I'm trying to study myself, so can't advice rnfuaarrtk. You can google "braces ruin faces" and look on orthotropics.com or tooth-for-toothfuaarrtk. Will wearing braces on the upper teeth only prevent this, my chin is right on the edge of not being recesssed. And removing it one month before it has been prescribed to wear?
Are you getting it for dental arch or only to straighten teeth?
Any idea if it can make the lip seal look better? You can google "braces ruin faces" and look on orthotropics.com or tooth-for-tooth
If you have fucked up front teeth then obviously yes. You can google overjet and see that good lip seal is impossible with itAny idea if it can make the lip seal look better?
I think i have a slight overjet , no under or overbite but i think it makes my lip seal look weirdIf you have fucked up front teeth then obviously yes. You can google overjet and see that good lip seal is impossible with it
Then 100% candidate for Invisalign with arch wideningI think i have a slight overjet , no under or overbite but i think it makes my lip seal look weird
