forward growth can be categorized as the projection in your features, pic as example:

so bad forward growth is when the line from your eye to your nose is flat and straight down/concaved?
vertical line from your eye to your lip should not be straight, the less straight it is the better
and yes what you listed is correct too

you can use the ratios in the pic on yourself to calculate your own ratios if you can be asked

In the SIMPLEST of terms, forward growth is basically how recessed your jaw is. If you have low/bad forward growth it means your jaw is recessed, likely as a result of poor respiratory habits or being genetically fucked.

Examples of bad vs good forward growth (fixed through surgery):

In your case, you're good and have no recession.

I have a slight overbite, does that indicate recession or not

no and you probably dont have an overbite, your teeth just lay infront (normal)
I do, my chin is just projected so it isn’t very visible but when I chew I have to bring my lower jaw back
