well we know high blood pressure is bad , but is lowering blood pressure if u have healthy blood pressure going to further slow ageing ? im not sure but i speculate that probably the lower it is within the range of high functionality , less ageing since each time blood is pumped the pressure could cause a bit of damage -- maybe why a low heart rate is associated with species longevity

based on this chart , i would think that 75/50-90/60 might be ideal , but infants have higher heart rate so maybe low blood pressure is less compatible with a low heart rate ?

do we want a larger or smaller gap between systolic & diastolic ? whats best ?

i will report when my experimentation with aspirin data is collected , to see how it affects BP . aspirin thins blood & does other stuff .

y does no one seem to care about optimal blood pressure ?

they say "muh less than 120/80 good" . i dont care what is arbitrarily "good enough" , i want OPTIMAL ! what about 75/50 ?

interesting thread, i really wonder about the difference between sytolic and dystolic last time i was at the hospital my systolic was like 118 and distolic 57 so 118/57 which is a bigger gap than all the ones you see like 90/60 and 120/80. im also a pretty good middle distance runner although i was not training that much when that blood pressure was taken.
