A large percentage of people of Western European descent don't really seem to give too much of a shit about their car as a status symbol, sure most know having a Mercedes is still preferable, but it certainly isn't even close to the first thing people think about when trying to build their image.

On the other hand ethnics and Eastern Europeans who have migrated here seem downright obsessed with their cars.

I can explain why in the case of UK, Holland and Germany and Australia , not sure if it holds everywhere, but basically:

1) crap genetics, studymaxxed ethnics (mainly Dravidian/ non Aryan curries, and rice) - these people know under it all they are garbage so they're blue pulled from a young age, and know because of their pheno, looks, cringe culture, and TBF stereotype failos, they will never be accepted by the mainstream. So their parents tell them to just study and salarymaxx and impress on them the importance of statusmaxxing AMONGST THEIR OWN ETHNIC CIRCLE (who are all also genetic garbage), so they can get a wife through their social status WITHIN THAT GROUP. A expensive car is the most obvious statusmaxx they can get. Btw the ethnic food they marry they do so will have ridden the Chad/Chaddam/chadriguez carousel harder than any JBW whore.

2) high T, low IQ, low fear, nothing to lose, economic garbage ethnics (mainly middle Eastern, Turks, Balkans, Latinos, pakis, Lebanese, Somalians) - these guys are officially poor af, low class, and just running various stages of low end crime game, after all they have nothing to lose. They actually can get laid with mainstream girls cos they have high T markers, and foids love their don't give a fuck, high risk attitude and rebellion against authority, which JBW never do. They love fancy cars cos it's something ingrained in their upbringing, hell even in their epigenetics that a fancy car is only something the powerful dictator/ warlord/ drug king pin ever had, and he would rule over our lives back in the motherland, so a fancy car is something that projects power. It's also a way for these guys to feel like they're not at the bottom of society after the age of 25 when the feeling of pride at slaying foids has gone, and u start seeing other guys make bank, get relationships, etc, while you're still slinging kebabs in your dad's takeaway. By having the same car as the nerdy white kid at school they can feel and show they're as good as them, even though the nerdy white kid is a Partner in a big 4 firm and bought that Merc with his one week's pay cheque, not hustled and scrinped like crazy to buy a stolen, scrubbed VIN Merc with a dodgy clutch goes it's got 2x the miles on it than the clock says...
