Why do you believe this? What is the evidence? Why does it even matter? To me this seems like blacks in America needing a a new identity so claiming they're chosen by God. And do they actually believe that other races are going to hell for existing?

Like I think this guy missed the entire point of Islam if the only reason he converted is because Moses was black.
And the Hadith actually attests to Moses not being sub-saharan African because Muhammad describes him as having straight hair.

And btw archaeologists and ancient historians currently believe that Moses is more of a mythological figure than a historical one.

This matters because the truth matters and the prophecies say we would reclaim our heritage in the last days.

“Black” is a crayon color not an identity and “race” doesn’t exist, only nations exists.

Sahih al-Bukhari 3395, 3396 Book 60, Hadith 69

“The Prophet may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him mentioned the night of his Ascension and said, “The prophet Moses was Adam (jet black), and tall as if he was from the men of the tribe of Shanu’a.”

وَذَكَرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِهِ فَقَالَ ‏”‏ مُوسَى آدَمُ طُوَالٌ كَأَنَّهُ مِنْ رِجَالِ شَنُوءَةَ ‏”‏‏



Sahih Muslim 165 Book 1, Hadith 326

”On my night journey I passed by Musa Ibn Imraan may peace be upon him was an Adam (jet black skinned) man, tall, kinky/woolly haired as if he was a man from Shanua tribe.”

So as we can see the Muslim hadiths actually describes Moses as being a so-called Negro man, and the Sahara is a desert not an identity and Israelites are totally different than Hamites (so-called Africans). Hamites sold us to Edomites (so-called White people) during the Trans Atlantic Slavetrade.
