what is the best job/trade to learn in 2025

i am thinking of quitting school because my attendance is like 30% and i just can’t be fucked anymore.

i was thinking of doing a trade maybe like construction or being an electrician or something but idk

obviously it’s kinda shitty in comparison to studying and maybe trying to pursue university

but i literally do nothing in school anyway
so it’s basically over for me academically regardless

You can't go wrong with electric/plumbing/HVAC. Plumbing has the most potential for service work, plumbing fixtures break all the time, sewer pipes get clogged and service is better than new construction, more fun and pays better.

I worked with a very serious and hardworking plumber for 2.5 years as a helper, and he is legit the wealthiest working-class man I know. Built each of his two sons mogger three story houses when they finished school.
