I think waxing would be easiest, just know that anything that pulls the hair from the root will weaken/thin the hair if you do it enough.

Laser is the only way to get rid of the shadow permanently. Plucking and epillators will still leave a faint shadow.

Waxing can get rid of it temporarily.
