Yes, I would play this in modern games. Defenders should send long through balls. Midfielders should be sprinting back to defend. Defending is a joke in modern football because it's too easy for the offense to draw fouls.

Or u can keep the wingbacks back and put the cms in a more back position to fortify defense If ur playing good team and looking to draw it out

Lower clubs dont have the talent or players required to play very offensive football remember most teams are just cannon fodder for the top teams in the league that's why draw is a great result and a versatile at times but defensive football should be prioritized imo
